ALL ABOUT LANDSCAPES

This course is designed to teach you the full photographic process of taking landscape photographs from the basics of composition, how to use your camera, what camera settings to use and why, hands-on location photography, through to digitally developing your photographs. Split into a number of small easy to digest sessions, the course is a mixture of theory and practical sessions over a period of four weeks. We will start with two evening theory workshops, teaching you the basics of composition and camera settings. We will then put this into practice with two practical sessions, shooting landscapes, followed by another evening theory session looking at developing your digital files and reviewing some of your photographs.

How much is it?
The total cost for all five sessions is only £99.

Where is it?
The theory evening sessions will be held in Sutton, Nr Ely and the practical sessions will be held on location in the local area within 25 miles of Sutton.

How many people will be on the course?
To make sure you get the most out of the course and to enable you all to have some individual tuition on the location shoots, numbers will be limited to six attendees.

Who should attend?
This course is ideal for both the beginner and the Landscape enthusiast who wishes to improve their landscape photography skills.
What do I Need?
You will need either a digital or film camera on which you can set the aperture and shutter speed manually. A DSLR is ideal but not essential. A tripod is also ideal, but don’t worry if you haven’t got one as I have a couple which you can borrow. Suitable outdoor clothing is required for the location shoots.

Is travel included?
No. I am a firm believer in keeping photography training affordable and as such travel is not included. On the location days you will need to make your own way there, although I will have some spaces in my car. The maximum travel distance will be 25 miles unless agreed with all pupils beforehand.

Do you provide refreshments?
For the evening sessions only, tea and coffee will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments.
